Internet operations experts from ISPs, data centers, Internet Exchange Points, content providers, governmental organizations, and research and educational institutions gathered this week for APNIC 42 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event was from September 28 – October 5. It started with a five day workshop, followed by a three day conference.
Approximately 300 people attended the meeting, including 6connect CEO Aaron Hughes. The conference focused on IPv6 deployment, depletion of IPv4, IPv4 transfers, and policy development.
